About us
Clinic 88 promotes optimal health through patient education, manual therapy, exercise therapy and expert opinion.
Clinic 88 aims to provide an optimal learning environment to encourage, inspire and promote every Therapist to explore and realise their potential.
Who are we?
Clinic 88 was started by Brad Hiskins after he left the Australian Institute of Sport in 2004. With 11 years at the AIS, and multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games representations, Brad saw the opportunity to take the same treatment philosophy to the general public, while still servicing the elite athlete community
The importance of excellent hands-on therapy followed by exercise rehab was the crux of athlete treatment protocols. This is what kept them going, kept them performing at their best, while remaining injury free.
That was the driving force behind combining Soft Tissue Therapy (hands-on therapy) and Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy and Pilates (exercise therapy), to simulate what worked so well with the athletic population.
Clinic 88 now treats around 2500 people per month and enjoys a growing reputation for results and sincere patient care. We haven’t finished getting better, we have much more to learn. Weekly tutorials, Therapist mentoring and solid communication with other health professionals are fundamental to our continued growth.
