DVA and Veterans Exercise Programs
Physiotherapy and exercise physiology for veterans in Canberra.
Clinic 88 welcomes veterans and is experienced in providing physiotherapy and exercise physiology services under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). We accept both Gold and White Card holders, with no out of pocket costs for covered services.
What we offer veterans
Care at every stage
Physiotherapy
Acute injury management and long term manual therapy maintenance. Our physiotherapists assess, diagnose and treat your condition, keeping you moving and managing symptoms over the long term.
Exercise Physiology
Sub-acute and chronic exercise management. Our accredited exercise physiologists design individual programs to suit your health goals and any accepted conditions, including:
- Strength, mobility and falls prevention programs
- Rehabilitation after injury or surgery
- Chronic pain and chronic disease management
- Cancer rehabilitation and post treatment conditioning
Programs can be one on one or in small supervised classes, across our Canberra clinics in Macquarie (Belconnen), Deakin and Woden.
How DVA funding works
If you hold a DVA Gold Card, or a White Card with an accepted condition, DVA can fund your physiotherapy and exercise physiology sessions. You will need a referral from your GP. Once you have it, call us on 02 6253 2388 and we will take care of the rest, including billing DVA directly so there is nothing for you to pay out of pocket for covered services.
